Awareness programme was organized at Ramakrishna Mission, Cultural centre, Golpark, Kolkata on 29th September, 2015 on implementation of Persons with Disabilities Act, 1995. 135 delegates from State/Central Govt. and leading NGOs registered under PwD Act, 1995 from various districts actively participated in the programme. Smt. Ranu Bhattacharya, Commissioner (Disabilities) inaugurated the programme. Speakers from Departments of CD, WD & SW, Health & Family Welfare, Labour, School Education, Higher Education, Technical Education, National Institutes and NGos were invited.
