An Awareness Booklet on various schemes of Central & State Govt. and FAQs
is published and was released by Dr. Shashi Panja, HMOS (IC), Department of
WD & SW on 27th June, 2014. The booklet is distributed to all Gram
Panchayats, Block/Sub-Division/District level Officers, NGOs. This booklet is
also being distributed among general public and PwDs.
A Compendium named “SPHURAN” is published every year on various aspects of disability,
concessions & benefits for PWDs and Govt. Orders & circulars issued by different state &
central Govt. departments time to time relating to empowerment of Persons With
Disabilities. HE the Governor of West Bengal released “SPHURAN” on the International
Day of Persons with Disabilities i.e. 3rd December 2014.
